Rebecca Gamboa is running for Regional Superintendent of DuPage County. She has over 29 years of experience as a public school teacher and is currently teaching in the Lombard district. She served as the director of both the National Education Association and the Illinois National Education Board of Directors, and she is currently the co-president of the Lombard Education Association.

Connect educators, staff, and administrators to professional education, ensuring inclusive and flexible scheduling as well as meaningful follow-up.


Connect educators, staff, and administrators with local government and community resources.

 

Protect public schools and stakeholders in the current  constantly changing political landscape to make our students safe for ALL of our students.


Protect our DuPage school districts from the effects of the current educator and teacher shortages by working to find creative solutions. 

Engage with DuPage County School Districts to provide guidance and support to DuPage County School Districts in the implementation of state laws and school code, including support for the Illinois Human Rights Act.

Engage all stakeholders with an interest in our public schools to focus on open dialogue. Rebecca will return the Regional Superintendent’s office to a welcoming space for all stakeholders.
